Benign extral-axial
involves the stella a supra sellar space. Behaves like a malignant
lesion. Can Metastasize. Can occur from the pharnyx to the sella tursica.
Has a cycstic and solid component.

3 to 5% of intracranial tumors

6 to 10% of pediatric tumors
•
No racial predominance
•
Incidence- age 5–10 years, later incidence 40–60 years of age
