The Rocky Mountain Gamma Knife Center opened as a Center Of Excellence in May 1993. Recently relocated to the University of Colorado Medical Center, the Center treats patients with intracranial lesions, functional disorders and arterial venousmalformations using cutting edge technology in the form of the new Leksell Gamma Knife®, Model “Perfexion.”

As an “open treatment facility,” trained neurosurgeons and radiation oncologists from across the Front Range utilize the Gamma Knife for the benefit of their patients. With over 30 years combined radiosurgical experience, the medical physics and nursing staff at RMGKC while working with the physician team will ensure that the highest level of care is provided to every patient.

Our goal at RMGKC is to help facilitate the patients needs during a time that can be quite trying. To further assist in this process, the RMGKC has successfully negotiated contract rates with most of the Managed Healthcare plans as well as the indemnity carriers in the region. Our experienced and courteous billing staff is here to assist in any and all insurance matters.
